Emergency Response Systems provided to Patients
Sunday, 30 December 2007

Cole Home Healthcare provides each qualifying patient with an Emergency Medical Response System. The system allows patients to feel more independent and ensured that they are safe within their own home. Should the patient have an accident or fall while at home, they simply push the button (which is placed on a necklace or bracelet), alerting the areas first response team. Cole Home Healthcare’s nurse is also contacted, allowing them to visit the patients home to identify whether additional treatment is needed. According to the CDC, more than 33% of people 65 and older are involved in accidents and falls at home each year. With the use of this system, Cole Home Healthcare patients are able to alert others in order to receive the appropriate aftercare.
